![]() In simplest terms, a chassis dynamometer objectively measures a car's actual horsepower and torque at the wheels. Its a valuable tool that will let you know if you're getting your money's worth out of the parts that you buy, and whether or not they do what you expect them to do. It's also an excellent tuning tool that will help you get more out of the vehicle and parts you already own. The dyno is not biased. It does not care how much parts cost or whether they improve performance. It simply reports the facts, and is unaffected by expectations, rumors, or biased manufacturers claims. Claims of big horsepower gains do not impress us; dyno charts PROVING results do. Our members have been dyno testing their cars since the mid-1990s when the club was first formed. The archive presented on this website includes testing that has taken place at Saturn Performance Club events or functions. Dyno Archive Access Junior club members and non-members can browse and search 28 runs located in our demo dyno archive. Get a feel of how the search features work and the type of information presented. If you like what you see, access to the full archive is one of the perks you'll receive when you sign up for Senior club membership (see below). Club members with Senior
standing (those who have chosen to pay dues) have access to the full
archive which currently contains 258 runs , and will be continually updated as
more testing is done. As a Senior member, we appreciate your decision to support
your club on a continuing basis. To express our gratitude, we have taken the time to
assemble this information. Enjoy it with our compliments, and we hope that you find
it helpful in your pursuit and enjoyment of Saturn Performance. Please take a moment to read these notes on our test procedures and interpreting the data, then...
